Extreme Violence -Mod-

V 2.5.6  Release Notes:

 

  • Interactive Soul Stealing
  • Compatibility: Base-game
  • Occult Availability: Ghosts (By default) + can be turned on for other sims from the mod's "Occult Murders" Options.
  • Extreme Violence > Options > "Occult Murders" > Enable "Supernatural" Murders for > Select the sim you want to turn it on for.
  • To perform the interactive interaction, click on a sim > Supernatural Murders > "Soul Steal (Interactive)"
  • When you select the "Interactive Soul Steal" interaction, a blue ghostly figure will materialize at your Sim's location. To interact with it, move your mouse over the ghostly figure in a slicing or swinging motion.
  • Each pass of the cursor grants your Sim:
    ○Whim Bucks (Base-game)
    ○Soul Journey Points. (Life And Death Expansion-Pack)
    ○Ghost Mastery Experience Points (Ghost Sims with Life And Death Expansion-Pack installed)
  •  Once the interaction is complete, the captured soul will be placed in your Sim's inventory.
     This soul can then be consumed for various unique benefits:
    ○Consume Soul for "Aspiration Satisfaction Points +500 Whim-bucks" (Base-game)
    ○Consume Soul for "Soul's Journey Points +1 Soul Journey Progress" (Life And Death Expansion-Pack)
    ○Consume Soul for "Ghost Mastery Experience Points +100 XP Points" (Ghost Sims with Life And Death Expansion-Pack installed)
    ○Consume To Resurrect Sim (Ghost Sims - Base-game)
  • You can also obtain a sim's soul by selecting the "Soul Steal" interaction for a quick non-interactive murder.

Additional updates & Improvements:

 

  • Changed the "Murdered" ghost trait's name to "Death by Murder" + Improved the icon for it + removed the blood spilling from the sim's chest as it was too distracting.
  • You can now select the "Death by Murder" ghost trait in CAS from the "Pick Cause Of Death" section.
  • Fixed Grim Reaper's behavior where he didn't reap souls of dying sims when spawned to the scene.
  • Fixed missing ghost options dialog when a sim dies from your sim's household.
  • You can now select the reaction interactions that were added to dying sims in the Life & Death update on sims dying from the Extreme Violence mod.
  • Added new categories for the "Finalize Death/Revive Sim" interactions + "Spawn Npcs" interactions that are available on dying sims.
  • Fixed an animation last exception error that occurred when reviving a sim that died from the "Choke To Death" murder.
  • Fixed the "Psychopathic Tendencies" Aspiration not transitioning to the next set of goals after completing the first level.
    ○The aspiration will now also reward your sim with "Soul's Journey" points if you have Life And Death Expansion-Pack installed.
  • "Animalistic murders" + "Occult Slayings" options + interactions will now show up for Base-game players again.
  • Added a new option "Mark Sims As Target For Violence By All Sims *Sim Picker*":
    ○Selected sims will now be attacked by any sim that comes across them.
  • Added a new Category in the mod's options for "Occult Murders" where it contains all options related to those interactions, such as enabling those murders for non-occult sims.
  • Added a new option "Protect Sims From Death Only *Sim Picker":
    ○This option prevents sims from dying of murders committed from the Extreme-Violence mod, and other game related deaths, allowing certain sims to be attacked/murdered, but never dying.
    ○Note: This option doesn't prevent death from my other mods yet, though some of my other mods have the same option related to deaths occurring from that mod.
  • Add a new option to "Enable/Disable Animation Idles For *Sim Picker*"
    ○This option disables idle animations that a sim does when having certain moodlets such as threatening with a knife when having the "Murderer" moodlet, or expressing pain when having "In Pain" moodlet.
  • Added a new option "Set Blood Intensity" available in the "Blood & Wounds" Option category:
    ○This option allows you to select the blood intensity on the sim from 1-5 as well as cleaning it off the sim.
  • Added a new option "Disable Dripping Blood On Blood Intensity Levels 3-5 *Sim Picker* available in the "Blood & Wounds" Option category:
    ○This option disables the dripping blood effects when a sim has blood intensity 3-5
  • Scrubbing blood off in the sink or in the shower will now count towards the "Psychopathic Tendencies" aspiration goal completion.
  • Sims will no longer autonomously scrub their bodies while seated if they were bloody.
  • If you have SimRealist's Mortem mod installed, the "Move/Destroy Nearby Grave/Urnstones To Inventory" interactions will no longer show up on "Body Bags" preventing a last exception from occurring.
  • Improved cops alertness to murderers + chances of a murderer sim to be arrested.
  • Fixed Star-Wars "Force choke" murder not starting correctly when selected.
  • Disabled blood & wounds CAS items for Toddlers + Children as some players reported that those items were getting randomly equipped for sims of those ages.
  • Changed the News Media's "Camera Man"'s Camera CAS item from a ring to glasses to prevent additional textures from overlapping the camera's texture if the person was wearing rings, bracelets, etc...
  • Fixed an issue where a sim will be stuck playing the "Hold Camera" animation after selecting the "Rage" interaction.
  • Deleted some duplicate left over deadly interactions from the main mod's package, all deadly interactions are now inside the "Deadly Interactions" package.
  • The "Snatched Weave" moodlet is now in a separate package allowing for other modders to modify the moodlet's cas item to be overridden easily.
  • Fixed autonomy for non deadly looping interactions such as Beat Up, Slap Drag, Etc... not working correctly when sims start them using autonomously.
  • News reporters will no longer interview dying sims.
  • Added additional tests to some interactions to prevent a circumstantial last exception error from happening related to "Constraints" + "Maybe append rein animations"
  • News reporters will no longer interview dying sims.
  • Shooting a sim from the "Autonomous Shooting Dialog" will now give a bullet wound to the shot sim properly.
  • Sims who have been shot from the from the "Autonomous Shooting Dialog" and then revived can now be picked as a target of autonomous shooting again.
  • Shooting a sim with a gun while sitting down will now play the shooting animation correctly for the shooter.
  • Sims with the "Horrifying Intimidation" Aspiration Reward Trait will no longer react scared to murders.
  • Lowered the chances of a sim with a "Murderer" reputation to be murdered by a witness that saw their murder.
  • Lowered the amount of times a sim will complain about pain when having the "Messed Up" moodlet.
  • Cops will no longer act scared when they see a sim choking another sim to death and will arrest the choker sim instead.
  • Added missing "Moodlet Reason" texts to some moodlets.
  • Manually Assigned News Media crew will now be chosen as the main sims for the News Media Situation.
    Please follow these steps to ensure this prioritization:
    ○ Remove any current news media crew from the mod's "News Media" category from the game options
    ○ Assign the desired sims.
    • The chosen sims will now be prioritized in those cases:
    ○ The assigned sims are not in your household.
    ○ The assigned sims are not on the current lot when news media are called.
    *Note, if you manually assign sims as Cameraperson/News Reporter, you can perform the actions related to News media such as reporting news/interviewing witnesses without having the news media situation active.
